Proposed liquor store opportunity area

 

The City of Edmonton is reviewing their current Liquor distance laws. There are concerns that the current 500m distance requirement from one Liquor store to another is restricting competition. Regarding the concerns, the City Council passed a motion on January 23, 2018 for administration to explore options for managing the impacts of liquor stores.
